The Arabic edition of Iain Morley’s The Devil’s Advocate has been published by Dar Al Khayal in 2026, bringing a practical discussion of advocacy, case preparation and persuasion to a wider Arabic-speaking audience.

The book focuses on the craft of presenting a case: organising facts and arguments, handling evidence, questioning witnesses and communicating persuasively in court. Its practical emphasis complements academic legal study by concentrating on the decisions advocates make when preparing and presenting real cases.

The Arabic translation was prepared by Mutaz Aljaaly following a project that extended over several years of translation and review. In announcing the publication, he noted the value the original work had offered him and the potential benefit of making it accessible to lawyers and law students who may prefer to engage with the material in Arabic.

For MALF, the publication reflects a broader commitment to professional knowledge-sharing and to making useful legal material accessible across languages. The firm welcomes the contribution the Arabic edition can make to discussion of advocacy and legal education in the region.
